Cary Elwes To Pen 'The Princess Bride' Memoir

Cary Elwes is set to recall his experiences on the set of cult fantasy film The Princess Bride for a new book.

Elwes has teamed up with biographer Joe Layden for the tome, which is scheduled to be published next year .

The 51 year-old actor played hero Westley in the 1987 movie, opposite Robin Wright, Billy Crystal and Andre the Giant, among others.

As You Wish: Tales From The Princess Bride will also feature interviews with his co-stars and a foreword written by director Rob Reiner.

Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis ave signed a deal with publishing house Simon & Schuster to adapt the lyrics from their hit single "The Fox (What Does The Fox Say)" into a new children's book titled, well, "What Does The Fox Say?"

Brothers Vegard and Bard Ylvisaker created the song and its accompanying video to mess around with producers of their Norwegian TV series "I kveld med Ylvis," but the song became a viral hit on YouTube and racked up over 200 million hits.

Oscar Hijuelos, the Pulitzer Prize-winning Cuban-American novelist who wrote 1989 novel "The Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love", has died at the age of 62.

According to the Associated Press, Hujuelos' publicist, Jennifer Lyons, confirmed that the author suffered a heart attack while playing tennis on Saturday on a Manhattan tennis court.

Hujuelos won the Pulitzer in 1990 for his most famous novel, which was turned into 1992 film The Mambo Kings, starring Armand Assante and and Antonio Banderas as two Cuban musician brothers who emigrate to New York City in the 1950s to start a dance hall ban...

Best-selling political thriller writer Tom Clancy passed away on Tuesday at the age of 66.

The author died at a hospital in his home town of Baltimore, Maryland. His cause of death has not been released, but he was reportedly suffering from a brief illness prior to his passing.

Clancy was born in the city in 1947 and was an insurance agent before becoming one of the most successful novelists in the U.S.

Clancy's first novel, "The Hunt For Red October", introduced CIA operative Jack Ryan, the recurring protagonist in several of his books. Ryan was portrayed on 1990 film by Alec Baldwin.
