Survive and Vance: Chris Vance Drives 'Transporter: The Series'

October 16th, 2014 12:10pm EDT
Chris Vance
Chris Vance has been hiding in plain sight. The English actor impresses no matter what role you hand him. He was the enigmatic yet still kind of likeable James Whistler on Prison Break. The entertaining antagonist Mason Gilroy in five episodes of Burn Notice. The charming and often inspiring Dr. Jack Gallagher on Mental. The "of course she fell for him" Casey Jones in Rizzoli & Isles. Even when he was a really bad guy on Dexter, he was still worth watching. And yet, most TV viewers probably can't tell you his name.

That's about to change. Vance has taken on his biggest role yet, and he's t...

Cary Elwes Revisits His 'Princess Bride' Experience
Cary Elwes seems like a man with many great stories to tell. After all, he's been excellent in a number of interesting projects, including Glory, Saw, Psych and The X-Files. His most beloved role, though, is undoubtedly Westley in The Princess Bride.

Now Cary is opening up the world of that classic film to its generations of fans, looking back on its production with a new memoir. We caught up with him last week for a few quick words about reflecting on his Princess Bride adventure.

Scott Michael Foster Takes On A New Role In Thriller 'The Pact 2
Scott Michael Foster has come a long way since we talked with him about Zero Hour last year, but he's still one of the good guys. Instead of trying to decipher a clone conspiracy, in the new horror flick The Pact 2, he's a police officer battling a sinister force. We checked back in with Scott last week to ask him about the film.

"This just totally fell in my lap. I'm always reading for stuff, and it just so happens I do a lot of TV," said the actor, who followed up Zero Hour with stints on ABC Family's Chasing Life and AMC's Halt and Catch Fire. "I thought, what is it going to be like? I ...

Rutledge Wood Dishes On 'Top Gear' Season 4: 'It's So Much Fun'
Top Gear came back with a bang last Tuesday, sort of literally: Adam Ferrara hit a tree and Tanner Foust was driving half of a Honda by the end of "What Does It Take." With a midseason premiere like that, we couldn't wait to find out what the guys will get into next! We thought we'd check in with the ever-lovable Rutledge Wood to see what we could find out about the remaining three episodes of season four.

It's not as if Rutledge doesn't have enough high-speed excitement in his life - he's in the middle of covering NASCAR's Chase for the Sprint Cup for FOX Sports 1, and he's pretty well kn...

Giving Hotel Owners What They Need To Succeed Anthony Melchiorri Style

October 7th, 2014 5:20am EDT
Anthony Melchiorri
We caught up with Travel Channel’s Anthony Melchiorri, star of the hit show “Hotel Impossible.” While chatting, Anthony shared the key to a hotel’s success, where he gets his tough love mentality, and what’s the grossest thing he discovered in a hotel room this season.

Tell our readers what you have been up to?

We’ve been shooting season five of the show and we have been to Woodstock, Pennsylvania, North Dakota, and Canada so far. You would think after the show being on for this long and my working with 50 hotels that the owners would be prepared for me or fake that they have it together,...

6 Secrets of 'The Strain' We Learned from Kevin Durand

October 3rd, 2014 2:30pm EDT
The Strain
There are just days to go before "The Strain" airs its season finale. And for a brief hour, we'll all revel in sludgy, slime-drenched vampire goodness.

Maybe someone will be killed off. Maybe Eichhorst. Maybe the Master! Maybe the entire vampire-killing crew (which would mean a fairly uneventful second season).

But after that hour: nothing, for almost an entire year. So while we still have that last little bit of "Strain" left, let's enjoy ourselves.

Recently, Kevin Durand (Vasiliy Fet) held a conference call with reams of writers from sites across the Web, where he detailed the ins and ...

David Tennant Talks 'Gracepoint': 'It's Been Brilliantly Told'
FOX's Gracepoint is notable for a number of reasons. There's the writing of Chris Chibnall, who helped launch Law & Order: UK into the impeccable series that became. There's Anna Gunn, fresh off her Emmy win for Breaking Bad. The biggest plus, though, is that it's a weekly dose of David Tennant - one of the finest actors to come out of the United Kingdom. He leads the ensemble as Detective Emmett Carver, after he did the same as DI Alec Hardy in the critically acclaimed original series.

We spoke to David before tonight's Gracepoint premiere to discuss translating the show from its British ...
